Recap: First Annual Glens Falls Event Planning Weekend: We had a fun-filled weekend of bridal and event planning activities. Congrats to the winners of prizes in our "couples challenge" Saturday, April 2 at Adventure Family Fun Center. Sunday wedding package winner was Cassy Parker & Keith Rosselle of Queensbury. The free "in-need" wedding package winner was Nicole Maines and John Hoage of Hudson Falls. Thanks to all the AWA members who contributed to the weekend and the great packages/prizes we gave away! Recap: Third Annual Bridal Weekend: January 7-9, 2011 at Dunham's Bay Resort in Lake George. We had three amazing days and nights of bridal events! Starting with Girls Night Out Friday night, we hosted over 50 guests, 15 vendors and had a complete BLAST! Saturday's engagement party saw over 150 guests, live musical performances and a great fashion show from Danielles Bridal of Saratoga. Sundays bridal show hosted 57 vendors, over 120 brides to be and over 300 people in just 3 hours! We gave out a total of over $21,000.00 in prizes all weekend long. Congratulations to our package winners: Dunham's Bay Wedding Package: Adriana David and Christopher Finley, Sweet Basil Wedding Package: Elaine Lapier and John Swain, Ticonderoga Best Western Package: Jennifer Eglin and David Henley, and Tent Wedding Package: Jessie Frier and Jeff Walters. Thanks again to Lynn Clausen and all the staff at Dunham's Bay Resort for their efforts and cooperation in making this annual event so successful once again!
Recap: Third Annual Fall Bridal and Prom Show on September 19, 2010 in the Mohican Ballroom and courtyard at Six Flags Great Escape Lodge was an amazing success! Over 180 brides and 8 schools experienced the old and new AWA vendors and took away over $19,000.00 in prizes! Congratulations to our lucky bride, Alyssa Jordan on winning the Ultimate Wedding Package from AWA and Six Flags Lodge! Shout out to Cheri Manning for winning our cash prize and to Fort Ann Central School for taking home the Ultimate Prom Package! Other winners include: Laura Ward-free cd player, Kalie Ryan-dinner for two, Shannon Gorman-romantic getaway for two and 52 others who claimed gift certifcates from our vendors! Thanks again to Steve Krehbiel, Kris Birchfield and all the staff at Six Flags for their hospitality and hard work in making our event run so smoothly. SEE YOU ALL NEXT FALL!

Recap: Bridal Weekend 2010: Second Annual AWA Bridal Weekend 2010 at Dunham's Bay Resort,Janauary 9-10, 2010. We showcased 44 total wedding vendors and saw over 400 people throughout the weekend at the Lake George Regions most popular wedding destination. Over 170 brides attended both events with a final count of 158 brides and over 300 people for Sundays showcase. Congratulations to Christine Hebert and Joe Rainville from Glens Falls for winning the Free Wedding Giveaway! Special thanks to Mark Childe, Lynn Clausen and the wonderful staff at Dunham's Bay Resort for their hard work all weekend long.
